We appreciated the ranch style home. It made it convenient for our kids, ages 6 and 4. The kids loved their bunk bed room with a TV. The pool was wonderful. The platform steps are nice for littles who can’t swim on their own but want to play. The foliage was beautiful around the pool and you could easily find a shaded area to sit or swim at any point during the day. The walk to the beach was simple. AMI is a relaxed, family oriented place. We would stay again.

Fantastic duplex because you don’t even know it’s a duplex. The neighborhood is quiet even when the roads on AMI and beaches are crowded. About a city block walk to the beach. Rent a bike to get to some of the islands great spots since they’re all right there. Our 3ed stay on AMI and we’ll be back sooner than later.

This home definitively overall exceeded expectations. It was a duplex though… which I wasn’t 100% aware of when I booked it but still maintained privacy as we had our own private fenced back area with pool and hot tub which was glorious! Many of the homes in the area are duplexes so something to keep in mind. The house itself is in an amazing location literally a walk down the street to the beach! The sunsets in AMI are incredible! The house was decently equipped with pool/beach items, towels and carts which was nice. The house was beautifully decorated, updated, clean and well equipped generally. Could have been a better stocked kitchen… we had to purchase quite a bit especially for a two week stay and have stayed in other rentals that had more of the basics. Bathrooms were very nice and showers comfortable although one was much hotter than the other and the master bedroom bathroom doesn’t have a door which is a little odd. Beds themselves were comfortable but bedding could be improved. Pillows and sheets not very high end considering the price of the rental. Overall we would rent here again bc of the location and back yard and the communication with the property management was great! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful property!

The house was exactly what our family needed. Perfect location, close access to the beach and restaurants. The house was well equipped with everything needed for day to day life. Every single request that we had from the host was fulfilled within reasonable time. The heated pool was perfect . We are recommending this house 100%. We will definitely be back.

The townhouse was clean and updated. The pool was like a private oasis. This was the ideal place to stay for us and our 3 young kids. It was just a short 5 minute walk from the beach making it perfect to go to and from the beach as we pleased.
Not only was it a great place to stay, the management was just as amazing. Our car broke down the evening before we were supposed to check out. It would have been a nightmare trying to find a new place to stay while waiting for our car to be repaired. Not only did AMI let us stay longer until our car was fixed, they let us stay an additional night at no charge. This made the already stressful situation of having to get my car repaired while on vacation a ton less stressful.
I can’t recommend this vacation rental enough!!

This place was excellent. It was a 2 min walk to the beach and the house was excellent. Check in was simple and we did not feel like we had to contact the host for anything else that wasn’t provided.

Mermaids Watch surpassed all of our expectations on this trip! This location/amenities are as pictured and described on the website. As a family of 9 traveling from Illinois, a few of us were apprehensive that the location would be comfortable enough for all of us under one roof. Turns out we had no reason to worry! We had plenty of space in this unit and wished we never had to leave. Mermaids Watch, both inside and out, was gorgeous. The proximity to the beach and shops were perfect! The communication between the company and any problems we ran into during our stay, was excellent and addressed immediately. 10/10 will recommend this location to friends and family. Thank you so much for having us, and we will most definitely be returning!

Mermaids Watch is wonderfully appointed, beautifully decorated, and perfectly situated. We loved the easy walk out to the private pool and spa, our comfy beds, showers with excellent water pressure and endless hot water! The neighbourhood is quiet, and the pool/spa was very private. Being located one block from the beach made for quick trips to and from the property. The handy beach cart with toys, floaties and chairs was a great touch. My only suggestions for improvement would be to replace some of the 'well-loved' beach chairs (rusty, fabric worn) and cookware (Paula Deen non-stick pan has definitely earned retirement!). The bedroom fan in the Queen bedroom needs to be adjusted so that it doesn't tick like a clock. This room would also benefit from some type of soundproofing between the wall separating the Queen bedroom from the pump room. That being said, I definitely don't want to come across as disgruntled! Our experience at this property was wonderful. In fact, these suggestions for improvement merely indicate that Mermaids Watch has been enjoyed by many guests! My family and I are already talking about returning!

This place worked out great for my family and I. Awesome location - very close to the beach. Very functional layout in this home, and everything was as advertised. Lisa was amazing to deal with as well. She was very quick to respond to calls / emails and was sincerely interested in making sure our stay was perfect. Would definitely rent again.

House was clean. There were Pool/beach toys,wagon,chairs. House is a very short walk to beach. No complaints other than backyard had no grass for dogs to go to the bathroom had to walk on the street not a big deal. I would definitely stay there again

This house and pool is amazing! A very short walk to the beach, bay, and free trolley! Everything was very clean with all the modern amenities! Two full baths with a house full of women was fabulous! The open floor plan allowed us all to gather without ever feeling over crowed! Can't wait to return ❤️

Spotless, everything there! Great communication and follow up to check in on us. THE way to go with a family!! Our first time using VRBO...it won't be the last. Red tide ruined a lot of our beach time, but between the pool and easy access to northern beaches, we just day packed further up the coast. We ALL loved this house and all its amenities!!! THANKS!!!!

This home was perfect! It was clean, up-to-date, and well-equipped. The beach was just a five minute walk away and you could hear the ocean from the house. It came equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and more, meeting the needs of our kids ranging 2-17!!! The pool and spa area was perfect for keeping the kids entertained and such an added bonus. Traci was quick to meet all our needs and make our stay as nice as possible. The island is full of fun little shops and eateries and the grocery store was close by. We highly recommend this home on this lovely, peaceful island.

This well-appointed house is a short walk to the beach and has everything a family needs for a great vacation. The furnishings are comfortable, and the house is cozy. The pool area is just shady enough to take a break from the sun and to keep the kids occupied while you pack your beach gear. This was our first trip to Anna Maria Island, but it won’t be our last!

This is our 3rd time visiting Anna Maria and it was perfect! House was decorated beautifully! Beautiful backyard and very close to the beach! House was just as pictured in the photos!
