We really enjoyed our stay. It was a 5-6 min walk to the beach which wasn’t bad at all. They had chairs available to use which was great. A kit was provided in each bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bath soap as well as some kitchen supplies (kitchen sponge, trash bags, and paper towels. There were only 2 washcloths in each bathroom so I’d recommend bringing additional washcloths or a loofa. There are no flood lights on the outside of the unit, just a small light on the porch and by the front door. A little hard to see at night when taking out our dogs, but wasn’t a big issue. Check in process and check out process went smoothly. Would stay again.

Tho solace was perfect for our family. Easy to walk to basically anything and super close to the beach. We will stay here again in the future. Thank you for a perfect vacation. The discount for Zoomaround golf carts was nice for them to drop off and pick up as we thoroughly enjoyed our golf cart all week.

The house was well equipped and lovely decor. We loved the pool! We were a 4 minute walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart which I highly recommend. You can load your gear and find parking right by the beach access.. or use a wagon or walk or bike. Was very close. If you book through the property manager link it will save you the delivery fee. AMI locals sent us I for Action as promised and checked in several times. Appreciated the attentiveness. Would highly recommend this property. They provided a nice little start up kit of things you need. We had an amazing time and would go back again in the future! Thanks for a lovely stay!!

We had a great stay at Caribbean Reef. This almost never happens but the house was even better than pictured. The pool was a great alternative to the beach for quick dips or on chilly days. The kitchen was well equipped for a week stay with good cookware and knives, even a crockpot and griddle. Barbecue was clean and worked great, oven was sparklingly clean. The rental company was responsive and accommodating when we had a late flight on checkout day. Next time I’ll plan better and bring my own soap and dishwasher detergent as the rental comes with a tiny amount. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back to this house again!

Loved the private, heated pool and BBQ - used both pretty much every day. Ate almost all our meals at the outside table overlooking the pool. House well kitted out and well located for beach access, as well as close to the trolley for our daily trip up to Dips for their excellent ice cream!
A drying line or clothes horse would have been nice but they do have a washer-dryer and hanging stuff on clothes hangars on the balcony worked for the rest!

What an amazing gem! I can't wait to come back to this rental again. It's extremely spacious, private and we loved every bit of it. We'd have coffee every morning out back on the lovely veranda, the pool was private and the perfect size and the back yard nicely manicured. Having the chairs and buggy were wonderful, it saved room in the car. Everyone the ladies at AMI locals were very kind, professional and we enjoyed working with them. We worked with their concierge to rent bikes, they were delivered the next day. The location to the dog park was excellent. I really did not want to leave this rental, this was a very relaxing vacation. Thank you for all that you did for us in this rental, we would love to return one day for a staycation very soon.

The house was even better in person than the pictures which says a lot . Everything was well maintained, pool was always warm and overall this was a great place for a holiday week stay. The beautiful beach is within walking distance and there are chairs and towels and a wagon which is very helpful for beach days. Any time we had any questions or small issues, the AMI concierge was responsive and helpful. If you want a golf cart for local trips, you should ask Concierge to help. We were able to rent for a week and it was very helpful getting around the island. Again, Highly recommend this home!

This was our first experience renting through VRBO, and it was our first time in Ana Maria Island after a colleague recommendation… Highly recommend visit this beautiful place, and we hope to return again soon! The rental process was super easy, and they even accommodated our request to extend our stay upon arrival due to have beautiful this home is! The house was clean, and it had the amenities we needed for the week. We drove down with a toddler and an infant to reduce our potential for Covid exposures, and the yard with private pool was ideal for our little guy to jump and swim in. The beach was also a three minute walk from the home, and the wagon and beach chairs provided by the host mean for easy transport with kids to relax on the beach as well.

We needed to get the heck out of Michigan for a bit and this place delivered! We decided last minute (like booked 3 days before we left) that we were heading back to AMI. House was great, had everything we needed from bottle openers to kitchen towels! The master bed wasn’t super comfy, but whatever. I just took a nap in the sun later in the day! Haha! We’ll be back!

Great stay. 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a beach cart with chairs which make it very easy to make a trip to the beach. The grill was great. Pool was heated to 86 degrees. No mosquitoes. Parking for two cars. Keypad for entry/exit was easy to use. Nice location on the island overall to explore in either direction.
Tons of great supplies in the kitchen but here are some more packing tips if you plan to cook or grill. Packing tips/needs : Pot Holder , grill tools , no Kuerig (traditional coffee maker). Cooler for the beach , beach umbrella.
We would certainly book this exact unit again without hesitation.

This was a great place to stay for a week! It was clean, easy to access, and a good medium location between the north part of the island and the southern entrance. It is a short walk to the beach, right around a block and a half, and it has great beach chairs and umbrellas as well as a beach wagon for hauling gear back and forth from the beach. There’s also some beach toys for the kiddos. The pool is very nice, comfortable temperature, and is partially shaded so you can take your pick of full sun or go for a little shade. Mosquitos can be somewhat bothersome when you’re out back in the pool area but the provided citronella candles seemed to help. All in all we found it to be a great place to stay and would definitely return for another stay. The host is also responsive and very helpful.

This property is perfect. It offers a pool, clean home, allows kids and has everything you need in the kitchen (even for an extended stay) I baked a homemade birthday cake and frosting for my son and I had enough mixing bowls. And hand mixer/beater. My family and I were very pleased with the home and the two minute walk to the beach. For your convenience, Beach chairs, beach wagon and pool toys are found at the home. Management is A+. Kelly made sure that issues were taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Love, love, loved ...already planning next years trip with All my family

if you want to really relax and just chill out this is the place. it i so warm and welcoming done so very tastefully in a beachy theme with all the comforts of home. the place was immaculate and the pool absolutely clean and refreshing with lots of chairs. i would definitely recommend for people looking for a safe clean house near the beach with good restaurants. the feckled fin is such a great pub good food and good prices with wonderful staff. we will be going back again since this place is truly paradise and lisa made sure we had everything we needed for our comfort. thank you AMI it was an amazing trip.

This was our first time to Anna Maria Island. We had a lovely time. Our home was very nice. Close proximity to beach. We want to return. We found good restaurants that were fun to visit. Easy to get around the island. We enjoyed renting the golf cart. We loved the pool and deck area especially in the afternoon after being at the beach. Ate all of our meals that we ate at home o on the deck. Will try to return to this home.

If you are a first timer to Anna Marie Island and have a dog, this is where you want to stay. An easy two block walk to the beach, with minimal road noise, this house was nicely outfitted. If you are staying for any length of time be prepared to bring along basics like toilet paper, tissue, dishwasher soap, spices, etc. The pool was great - they kept it warm and usable even in cold January when we were there. The pool gets afternoon sun and is protected so again, even in slightly chilly temps, it was great to relax at the pool. If you haven’t used the Spectrum TV system that is installed in that area, you will eventually figure it out. WiFi worked great. Lot of good restaurants located within a mile or so of the house, so you don’t have to drive very far.

We absolutely loved our stay with AMI Locals! Our cottage was SUPER CLEAN and decorated absolutely DARLING! Our pool was cleaned twice while we were there for the week, as well as our trash picked up. I loved having a washer and dryer too, very convenient! It’s only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach. It was quiet, and we felt very safe. Eric, the property manager, was very accessible, gave us his personal cell, and answered our texts promptly and in a kind manner. Hurricane Michael passed by while we were there, but AMI kept us up to date on everything we needed to know to stay safe. We will most certainly book with them again when we return to Anna Maria! We can’t say enough nice things about our stay!

We loved spending two weeks @ Caribbean Reef. The size and quality of the rental was perfect for a family of four and a few pups in tow. Great location near everything you want and need for a great holiday. The management team is awesome and responsive as well. Not a problem or care about our time there. Will contact them again for our semi-annual AMI experience.

We are only a couple days into our stay, but I couldn't wait to leave our review! We couldn't ask for a better place... so close to the beach, private backyard with beautiful pool, fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals... just can't say enough! The house also has beach chairs, towels, umbrella and even a cart for an easy walk to the beach. Eric is quick to respond to any questions about the house, but did a great job preparing us in advance. Would definitely love to stay here again!

If I were to own a beach house of my own, it would be this house. For starters, the house is beautifully decorated and highly functional. Second, the location is perfectly situated in the quiet part of Anna Maria Island, with less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, and with easy access to the rest of the island. Finally, the pool area is fantastic. It's very secluded and provides a great shield from neighbors and wind. The tanning ledge is perfect for smaller kiddos to enjoy the water with some level of independence. I can't recommend this house enough- we can't wait for our next visit!
