Bean Point Bungalow is very comfortable and the location is fantastic. The home was very clean and the King bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, plates, etc. It was nice to have the wagon, chairs and umbrellas for our time at the beach. The pool is very small, and for the two of us it was fine. As other reviewers pointed out, there are no seasonings (other than a very small salt/pepper), no cooking oil, and not even coffee filters for the drip coffee maker. The management company was very responsive to our internet issue and they replaced the router within a few hours. I highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow. It was very clean and was comfortable. It is a beautifully decorated home.The only suggestion I have would be to provide more soap, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex especially if your stay is for 7 days or more. A beginning set of salt/pepper, would also be nice. The location was excellent!! An easy walk to the beach at bean point. Loved that!!The management was extremely helpful and prompt in their response.We would book this again.

The house was very nice and in a very quiet neighborhood which is what I wanted with a 91 year old mother with dementia. The management company was very responsive even replying back after hours at times. I wish the house were on the beach so that it was easier to get my mom on the beach but we did the best we can to get her there. Thanks for the stay and the memories!

Great spot in that you quite literally walk across the street to nearly your own private beach. It's on a quiet street and one of the cleanest places I've been and the pool was well maintained. Easy to get ahold of them if you needed anything - but all in all easy, peasy and place was much bigger than pics show.
Cons would be - like other reviews say the louver doors throughout the house give no privacy. No big deal b/c it was just my husband and I but that also gave no sound dampening. I get up early to make coffee and he can hear it all. Even the bathrooms had doors like that and no blinds on front doors. Our vehicle blocked the view but still you're on display if you want to walk from the bathroom to the bedroom.
Minor things like no oven mitt or extra like foil to wrap food up. Two dish tabs and two laundry tabs. No salt or anything so pack up well!
But all in all great spot!

House was perfect. Clean is an understatement. The pool is the size of a big mud puddle, lol, but still fun and private (even considering the neighbors are so close. Lush foliage makes it intimate.) Beautiful neighborhood; accommodations were very comfortable. Close enough… and yet far enough away for peace and tranquility. I would stay there again!

Book it now! It was one of the best accommodations I have ever booked on airbnb. We were a group of five ladies in our 30s/40s who headed to AMI for a bachelorette weekend. It exceeded our expectations, and we all said we would stay there again. Five adults were extremely comfortable. We didn't use the sleeper sofa and instead had two sleep in the master king. They have everything you need - plenty of cooking equipment, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. We spent the morning at the beach and then when the wind picked up in the afternoon, headed to our pool. The beaches are the best in the US! If you want a night out, call the Monkey Bus for transport - it is a fun way to get around. The Sandbar Restaurant is walking distance and is a MUST for sunset, drinks and dinner - we thought it was so nice, we went there twice! All the tips you need are available at the accommodation in a binder. I'd also recommend a kayaking tour with amipaddleboard.com one morning - super fun and great for photos!

The unit had received a negative review by previous guest regarding the carpeting in the master bedroom, I brought this up to management's attention with well enough time prior to my check-in and they had the carpeting steam cleaned. The house not only smelled fresh but it was thoroughly clean and immaculate, exterior and pool are nicely kept. Kitchen was fully stocked of small appliances, cookware, bakeware, etc. Plenty of linens, towels and beach towels. You will have to bring in your additional trash bags and paper products as they only provide one or two of each. The location is perfect, in a quiet residential area which was perfect for us since we were looking to disconnect from the rush-rush of everyday city life. House is located across the street from the beach, with a shaded walk way out to the beautiful powdery soft sand! We are definitely looking forward to staying at this property again in the near future!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Accommodated two couples very comfortably. The reservation/booking process was smooth and efficient with the electronic documents and signatures. Communication and access to property was clear and efficient. The house was sparkling clean and welcoming. You can’t beat the location. The expanse of dunes, grasses and powdered sugar sand as you emerge from the access path was so beautiful and inviting each and every day of our stay. If it is available, book it.

Fantastic collation on a beautiful part of the island. We loved the ease of walking to the beach and enjoyed the pool very much! The host was also very quick to respond to a maintenance issue and had a crew out to the property in less than an hour. The property is run by a management company, so be sure to ask for the contract prior to booking as there are some extra details you may want to be aware of! Overall and excellent place to stay!

This is a charming cottage, recently renovated, very close to one of the best spots on the beach. Entrance to the beach is right in front of the house and the walk to the sand is about 5 min. It is well equipped for the beach with chairs and a cart. Pool is small but very nice. Outside, it has a warm water shower and a hose very convenient to get rid of the sand from a long day on the beach. We had an amazing weekend! We would repeat this cottage with out a doubt!

We were a family of 5. Me, my husband and 3 grown children (21, 21 & 19). The space was plenty big and was well laid out. The home appears to have been recently updated so I has an open floor plan which is great for conversations and having everyone be a part of the happenings.
The master bedroom is quite large with a wonderful bathroom that included a walk in closet and a beautiful shower with double shower heads and a rain shower.
The pool was small, but did the trick for our family. We just wanted to cool off from the 95 degree heat. If you have young children, you might be disappointed. Really not room for swimming.
The best part of this home was the proximity to the beach. The beach access was literally right across the street! The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing.
The only 2 things I would change are:
1. There were louvered doors throughout, which didn’t allow for much privacy.
2. No kitchen table. We enjoy sitting down for meals, but also to play games. There is an island with 4 barstools, so my husband always had to stand to eat.
Overall, we would stay definitely recommend Bean Point to our friends!

This spot on the north of Anna Maria Island is a Gem. A very quiet neighbourhood but close to the beach and great restaurants. The bungalow was super modern, very clean and had excellent amenities including all beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. It was a perfect spot for our girls getaway. We will be back!!!

The home itself had everything you could need and the pool is just large enough to cool off and get back to sun bathing. We grilled and walked across the street for the beautiful sunsets. Everything about this stay was terrific! The house was the perfect size for a family of 4. Master bedroom and bathroom are excellent (although a dresser/drawers would be nice even though the closet is big - that's the only suggestion I would have; the bunk room definitely could use a dresser of some type). Kitchen is very nice. We really enjoyed the pool -- it's small but pefect for cooling off and deep enough for kids to swim. Location is awesome and directly across the street from beach access. Highly recommend!

Bungalow was inviting, relaxing, well equipped and spotless. We had a fantastic vacation. Quiet and private beach where we watched the sunsets everyday. Convenient to restaurants on the island but cooked at home too because we had everything we needed. Pool looks tiny but it was a very nice bonus especially in the evening.

This beautifully remodeled home is open and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable beach vacation. The dipping pool is the perfect size to cool off and the cute backyard is large enough to relax on one of the lounge chairs for an afternoon nap. Very private house and yard. Perfectly located across the street from a large expanse of white sandy beach. Highly recommend this home!

The quaint, recently renovated bungalow was just what we needed. The interior was very well done. Seating and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The little pool in the private back yard, suited our party of 6 adults perfectly. Although, the walk to the beach was mere minutes away, we found the pool to be our favorite spot. The neighborhood was quiet, and well suited for biking. Our only complaint was the absence of a table for game playing or eating. The kitchen island, with only 4 stools, served as our table. If you visit Anna Maria Island, head to the north end, and stay here.

So glad we found this sweet little beach cottage and Anna Maria Island. The beach is gorgeous and not crowded. Great location to beach, town and fishing pier. Walking distance to just about everything; shopping and delicious food. This was our first trip to Anna Maria and it won’t be our last! Amanda was a gem to work with too. Quick to respond and informative.

As soon as we opened the door to this adorable cottage we knew we lucked out. Everything done was tasteful, clean & beautiful. The only criticism is that there is no dining table inside or out so the only place to eat is at the kitchen counter. Other than that this place is wonderful

We escaped to AMI for a girls getaway and this bungalow (and island) could not have been more inviting! The decor is adorable, the open floor plan allows for the home to feel so spacious, the outdoor space was wonderful for afternoon cocktails and a dip in the pool and the quick walk to the beach access directly across the street made this rental top notch! After biking all over the island, we decided that the location of this house is by far the best! A more neighborhood feel, less commercial, the perfect place to bike everywhere (especially to Pine Avenue) and the beach is so expansive and not crowded at all. Ashley at AMI Locals was a delight to communicate with and so helpful with all of her suggestions. She was always so quick in her responses and was a wealth of information. We highly suggest renting bikes from Beach Bums, scheduling your airport transfers with Mark at Costal Elite and definitely book a private sunset catamaran cruise with Kathleen D Sailing! Be sure to eat several times at the Waterfront (best food on the island), get some onion rings and cheap beers at the Rod-n-Reel, tacos at Poppos, breakfast at the Donut experiment, oysters at Sand Bar (be sure to grab a hat from their gift shop), live entertainment and grouper tacos from the Ugly Grouper and take a bike ride all of the way down to the Wicked Cantina in Bradenton beach for their mid day happy hour on the patio with the best chorizo queso ever! But honestly the best part was packing a late day picnic and watching the sunset from the beach. We can't wait to return and will certainly consider this bungalow again and will definitely look for an AMI Locals property!

Nicely renovated with plenty of space for a small family or 2 couples. Just across the beach in a quiet area. Perfect small plunge pool/hot tub in the private back yard. Ashley, the home manager was very accommodating. Loved it!

We loved our stay on Anna Maria Island! As a family we vacationed here for years growing up and had not been back in probably 35 years! Much has changed but it still is a quaint beautiful island with gorgeous beaches. The house was great for the three of us and we enjoyed the pool and outdoor area very much! Would definitely love to return!

This bungalow is a fantastic place to unwind and get away from it all . Kitchen well equipped , bed and pillows comfortable . Being able to relax with a drink by the pool was superb . 15 min walk to trolley stop and 2 minutes to the beach . Ashley was a great help throughout the process and always available if needed. Hope to return .

This little beach house my appear small from the outside, but as soon as you step through the double doors, it feels like a mansion! Completely updated with all modern luxuries and beautiful beach design touches throughout. As we are a military family with 2 small children, my wife and I knew we needed something away from the mass of tourists. This beautiful house just steps from the beach was our dream come true! My first words to my wife were...”This feels like a dream home on the beach....I just want to buy it!” We were amazed at the spa-like feel of the bathrooms and how spacious everything felt. The pool was perfect for our little girls! No details were left untouched!

What a wonderful place to stay. My family of four felt so at home here thanks to comfy beds, clean bathrooms and a spacious kitchen to cook in. The pool is fabulous (small but totally functional) and the beach access (across the street) is wonderfully convenient. You can even walk to town in less than 10 minutes. I'm reluctant to write any more because this little gem should be Anna Maria's best kept secret! We will return for sure!
