Ariel's by the Sea

Great location…three minute walk to the beach and short walk to Pine Street shopping and restaurants. We LOVED the private and warm pool that had shade and sun throughout the day. The outdoor shower with hot water was delightful. Beach chairs and a wagon were provided.

The house and pool were perfect! So close to the beach, and the house was quaint, private, and clean. We loved spending time on the back patio and in the pool (in also has a light in the pool for evening swimming). Only two small issues while we were there: The pool might have a small leak somewhere because the water level went down a few times and needed some water added, and the beach umbrella provided was rusted out and broke on the first use. Other than that, there were three newer beach chairs provided and kitchen had enough to do some baking meal prep. House is such a short walk to the beach! And so close to everything on AMI. We had a great week and would love to come back someday!

We had an AMAZING time. I would recommemd to our friends and family and would love to return again. The following list are not complaints, but most of an FYI. A coffee cup and glass were broken, we threw them away, so no one would get hurt. The lamp in the masterbedroom was broken, and the master bathtub was draining very slowly. There wasnt a pot holder or a clean cooking sheet. Hope this helps for future guests to also enjoy their stay.

Location is amazing and a few minutes from beach waking. We didn’t need a golf cart but never hurts if you want to park close to beach. The pool was awesome for lunch breaks or late night swims. We will be back again soon and plan to stay here again.

Exactly as advertised! I was very pleased with the property. It was exactly as shown in the pics. Very close to the beach and with an easy driving distance of several restaurants and shopping locations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

This was the perfect size and location for our family of 5. It’s a very easy, short walk to the beach and it was great that they provided beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, and a wagon to haul it all in. We used the pool a TON and loved that it was at least partially shaded all day.
The pool area does need some TLC, the pavers around the pool are loose, and the roots from a tree have popped up all of them on one end. Several of the pool chairs were really weathered and mildew-stained. I imagine replacing the pavers might be a big project, but newer pool chairs would spruce up the place quite a bit and not be a big investment.
Regarding the house, the bedrooms are pretty small (it was tricky figuring out where we could leave an open suitcase), but clean, and good enough for a the week we were there. The ice machine in the fridge was broken but ice trays were provided so we could make our own. They could have easily improved our experience by providing coffee filters (we improvised with paper towels) and a few extra dishwasher pods. I understand that you don’t want to provide unlimited supplies for the house, but these are things you can’t just buy single use packages of and no one wants to buy a whole container of something when you only need a few. Again, seems like a very small financial investment that would be so helpful to guests.
Overall, it was a great place for us - clean, good location, and good price. I’d choose it again. 😊

The house was beautiful! Could use a few more hangers but otherwise it was great. Would stay there again!! Love having our own pool. A cold front came through so the water in pool got cold but otherwise couldn't ask for better weather. Easy walk to the beach. Quite street.

We loved our stay @ Ariel’s by the Sea! The beds were very comfortable, the pool was super warm and the walk to the beach was short for ages 4yrs-70yrs. I traveled with my mom, and 4 kids ages 4-11, and we all loved this spot and our stay on AMI.

We LOVED staying here! It was clean, beds were comfortable, furnishings were beautiful, and location is amazing! It is only a block from the beach, and it's such a pretty walk! The washer & dryer died on the first night. They were out the next day and replaced it with a brand new stackable unit. Great people to work with! The bedroom with the twin beds is EXTREMELY tight. Not even enough room to have luggage in there. I would suggest bunk beds, so you would have more room to move and keep your luggage in there! We will definitely be staying there again!

Perfect location for trolley, beach, restaurants, grocery store and shopping. The house was very clean and comfortable. We only cooked breakfast and lunch but the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans and cooking supplies. Be aware only salt, pepper and a few spices are supplied. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is a great clean property. It was too bad the red tide affected our beach trips but we did just travel north a bit to St Petes which was equally lovely. The house was exactly as shown in pictures. We love AMI and plan to return next month as well.

We just loved Ariel's by the Sea! It's the perfect size for 6 adults. The walk to the beach is probably less than 5 minutes, and unlike many other properties in AMI, we used the pool every day! Great location. We will definitely be back!!

Had a water leak issue upon arrival but owner was quick to send maintenance to take care of it. Also, we thought we were supposed to have an email with code to open the front door but did not so called owner and left message then called real estate company on sign in yard who told us they had an envelope for us to pick up. That was news to us. However, the friendliness and concern for our stay from the owner, the proximity to the beach, along with the beauty and cleanliness of the house was enough for us to stay at Ariels again! We had a wonderful time! (Haven't received any info on the return of our security deposit though.)

My wife and I lived in Ariel's by the Sea for five weeks. We plan to return next year. This duplex property is a three minute walk from the beach and nicely located approximately midway between the Holmes Beach and Anna Maria shopping areas. It is well equipped for comfortable living and includes basic beach equipment. The local rental agency advertises this unit as a 1500 Sq.Ft., 3 Bedroom rental. However, I think the 1500 Sq. Ft to be a stretch. It is a comfortable but not spacious accommodation . If you have special space needs, i.e. for handicap or medical equipment, it could be a problem. It was great for my wife and I and for hosting some overnight snowbirds on several occasions. Also, an absolutely lovely fenced patio with pool provides additional living space, weather permitting. The pool is heated at 80 degrees F. Also, while the other half of the duplex was occupied by different renters during the five weeks we were never bothered by noise.

We rented this property for the last two weeks in October; There were 5 of us, (my two daughters and two small grandsons and I) What a wonderful spot for a restful vacation. This lovely house was well equipped; plenty of beach towels; new beach chairs and umbrellas; even sand toys! Three very nice bedrooms with closets and dressers for your clothes. The living space was well planned and there was plenty of room for all of us. Large laundry machines; a plus for families. The pool and patio were very private and provided a restful spot for time at home; grill, lounge chairs, umbrella table; so nice to sit out and relax! The beach was a couple of minutes walk from the house; perfect! There is a free island trolley; jump on, jump off literally across the road, so we used it alot. The drivers were friendly and courteous which made the ride enjoyable. Anna Maria Island has alot to offer; nice restaurants, beaches and fun things to do. The owners of this house were fantastic! Very customer friendly and service oriented and were always available to us, if needed. I can highly recommend renting this property and will certainly come back again.! Thank you!

We stayed at this vacation home for a full nine days during our annual Anna Maria family reunion. This gorgeous property has been completely remodeled using high end finishes and is meticulously maintained. The property is spotless! Crisp and clean. The furniture, bedding and linens will make you feel like you are in a 5 star resort. When we arrived at the home we noticed that the property's gas grill was not working properly and contacted the owners on a Sunday morning assuming that they could simply send someone to the property the next day. However, we were completely amazed when the actual owners of the property immediately showed up at the home with a brand new gas grill and a fresh propane tank. The owners quickly installed the new grill and visited with our family for 45 minutes. We were Wowed with the service and personal attention we received. The property is situated just a short walk from Holmes Beach. The sand feels like mushrooms on your feet and the beautiful Sunsets make this the perfect beach getaway.

Stayed for a week in May 2016 and had an awesome time. The place is clean, has all the amenities you need (except as someone else already commented a sharp knife), and is located in a great spot close to a beautiful beach. The back yard pool and patio is a private and relaxing spot for cooling off, relaxing, reading, and of course grilling (they delivered a new grill the day we checked in). The island is a great place for a relaxing vacation and this property fit our needs perfectly.

Myself and my Husband and my Sister-in-law and Her Husband stayed at this house a few weeks ago. The house was beautiful and clean when we arrived. We stayed 2 weeks and had a fabulous time. The outside area is beautiful and has plenty of lounge chairs and pool was maintained nicely even though we did not use it. The owners are lovely people and if we did have a question or wanted to ask them something they got right back with us. Both of us couples loved the mattress that was on our bed, we were impressed with the hot water, even if all 4 of us wanted to shower in the evening we never ran out of hot water. We loved our week at this rental on Anna Maria Island. The home was very clean and cozy. The beds and couches were super comfy and the kitchen table was spacious. We've never stayed at a place with a private pool, but now it's a must!!! Loved looking out thru the living room and seeing the pool. The beach was only a short walk-252 steps. Every year we have a destination vacation with the whole family, since it's about 30-35 of us we usually have to rent several houses and this year was no different as we rented a total of 8 houses in a 1 block radius. This house was exactly what we needed, 3/2 with a pool and the space for 6. The owners were very nice and great to communicate with, the house was clean, the kitchen was large and everything worked. I was lucky because the other half of the family had all sorts of issues like broken A/C & miss firing smoke alarms. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to rent in Holmes Beach/Ana Maria Island!!!!

Second visit to AMI and this property. Once again, had a great time. Home was very clean with plenty of towels for home and the beach. Owners are very accommodating and easy to get hold of. Nice pool with plenty of outdoor furniture. Beautiful beach is a two minute walk and easy to get to. Home is very close to shopping, restaurants and trolley stop. Hope to return next year!

Spent a fantastic week at this property on Anna Maria Island. Unit was well appointed and very clean. Private pool was a great place to hang out after a day at some of the best beaches I have been to. Owner was fantastic in answering and dealing with any questions we had. Plenty of room for the five of us. Our best family vacation. Would definitely do it again and the same place.

Great place to stay - 2 minutes from huge beautiful beach across Gulf Blvd. Very clean and well equiped with towels, extra sheets, dishes, grill, etc. Larger than expected pool. We stayed here with 2 other couples Feb 16-23. Villa was everything as described. Great place to relax. Close to the beach, short beach walk to the Sand Dune for a cold one. Short distance to shops and activities on Anna Marie Island. Owner gave great recommendations for area restaurents. Would recommend renting the electric bikes for a fun ride around Anna Marie Island. Area close to spring training faciliaties in Sarasota. Would highly recommend. Great vacation.

we stayed at this house from 12/23/2012 to 1/3/2013 , there were 6 adults and 2 5y old kids ,the location is perfect , the house was perfect , the beach is down the street just 2 min. away or less ,the owners are great people , the area is very clean , everything you need is there , I would definitly recommend this house , just make sure that you bring the right people with you , the city pier is good but the rod and reel is cheeper and they have better food , the people on the island are very polite , over all we had a great time .... lots of things to do or just relax by the pool and do nothing
