A Change in Latitude

We really enjoyed our stay at A Change in Latitude! The location was excellent and made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The home was a great fit for our group of two families with one child each. There was plenty of space, the beds were very comfortable, and the amenities provided everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.One thing worth noting is that the pool area had a significant mosquito problem. We weren't able to enjoy that space as much as we had hoped because of how many mosquitoes were present. Also, be sure to park a golf cart in the direction of traffic when parking in the driveway to avoid a hefty citation!I also wanted to mention that before our trip, we asked whether the property had beach chairs and games. We were told there were no games and only one beach chair per bedroom. However, when we arrived, we found several beach chairs, umbrellas, and a nice selection of games, which was a pleasant surprise. Future guests should know these items are available.Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located home that worked wonderfully for our group, and we would recommend it to other families looking for a convenient place to stay.

The home was beautiful inside and out. But the pool area had many bugs and no way to detour them. We did not use the pool very much because of the bugs.

Tolle Unterkunft für einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt mit Familie und Freunden. Die Einrichtung ist optimal, die Umgebung mit Pool- und Hottub-Landschaft mit Lounge und TV ist super und gepflegt. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Spiele (Golf, Cornhole und Fussballspiel) sind perfekt. Alles in allem ein wunderschöne Location mit anständigem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Bemerkungen und Anregungen: Eine Toilette war verstopft (wurde aber sofort und sogar am Sonntag behoben). Das Beach-Equipment lässt ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig. Dort könnte (für den Preis der Liegenschaft) noch ein Effort geleistet werden (z. B. ein anständiger Beach-Cart und zwei anständige Sonnenschirme oder Strandsegel).

We loved our time at "A Change in Latitude". The beach at Bean Point was a short walk and we frequently biked to the beach entrance at Pine Ave. The neighborhood being on the north side of the island was quiet and peaceful. We loved our time in the pool and hot tub. The home was clean and "AMI Locals by Prime Vacations" (rental company) was very responsive to the few questions that we had. The outside area near the pool was great as well, but it is not directly accessible from the inside of the home, so you do need to go outside and around the house to access it. This was not an issue for us, but it was not clear from the listing. Overall, the property and house were amazing and we had a great time. We highly recommend AMI and this property.

We had a great stay at “Change in Latitude”. It is a beautiful property that feels like home! The three large bedrooms (all with smart TVs for streaming/casting) and three well appointed bathrooms were perfect for our stay! There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room that we did not use. But the proximity to the best beach around is the area is the real star of the show. The house is just a 5 minute walk to Bean Point beach. Several beach chairs and a wagon for transport were conveniently available. The pool area is gorgeous and like a resort hotel! The pool is very large (but not too deep - great for just hanging around) and is actually under the house so it’s very comfortable and shaded. There is also a pool lounge area complete with outdoor couches, chairs, dining table, foosball, barbecue grill, and another smart TV! So you can watch your favorite show while lounging in the pool. Some tips for future guests:Bring mosquito repellent or a tennis racquet style bug zapper. Also maybe a citronella candle or two. Because of the shaded pool area, hungry mosquitoes tend to congregate under the house. They attacked us immediately upon arrival. But we were ready! Beach umbrellas were not at the property, but all we had to do was ask the management company and they were provided. The whole property was impeccably clean throughout. And the kitchen was well stocked with essential utensils and appliances (we cooked several meals during our stay.)

Excellent property right at the tip of the island so very quiet but that does mean all the amenities (apart from the beach) are a drive away. Pool area is great being under the house meaning we could swim all day without being in direct sun. The mosquitoes were bad but a few coils from Publix did the trick.

The pool was amazing, and hot tub was so relaxing. Only recommendation for house would be invest in a new wagon with bigger wheels that will accommodate the sand . It was almost impossible to roll even on the street. . Other than that the rental was incredible .

Beautiful house & spacious for our family of 6. Very quiet area with stunning Bean Point walking distance. Pool/Hot tub and family outdoor games were enjoyable when away from the beaches.Extra bedding/pillows for the pull out couch & a beach umbrella would be a recommendation to just help guest with the stay. Definitely look forward to returning to AMI & A Change in Latitude!

A Change in Latitude by AMI Locals really is a nice setup from quiet area, easy walk to Bean Point, and plenty of space to spread out. Having the pool, hot tub, and games to come back to after the beach makes those days even better. Appreciate the feedback as well. We do have our Guest Services team reach out ahead of time for items like beach equipment, and they’re always happy to help coordinate anything you might need. For the sleeper sofa, linens are provided and typically stored in the primary bedroom closet but if anything, ever seems missing, just give us a quick call and we’ll get you taken care of right away.
